Dr Aristea Kyriakou (or simply Aristea!) is an enthusiastic and highly skilled Greek teacher, researcher and academic, who has gained with distinctions her PhD (Onassis Foundation Scholar), an MRes, an MSc and a Bachelors, all in Education Sciences.
She is a global citizen – given that she has lived and studied in Sweden (Linköping University), Scotland (University of Aberdeen) and Switzerland (Education First) apart from Greece (Aristotle College, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). Aristea keeps working at an international level providing insightful, engaging and inspiring presentations, delivering workshops, giving speeches, leading and supporting school communities in their journey to use their schoolyards (more and more) at various projects and most importantly: she’s sending positive vibes to any teacher who aspires to take this path.
Having had hundreds of students of all ages throughout her career makes her an exceptional practitioner who is characterised by creativity, flexibility and dedication.
Her next goal is to develop Greek.and.Green to an extent that anyone in the world could have access to learning Greek online yet in an experiential way for the first time, starting from an absolute beginner’s level to reaching a high academic level of speaking, writing, listening and understanding Greek.
What is more, though, is her passion to achieve that by working towards positive environmental change.
With the creation of Greek.and.Green, this now becomes her new commitment!
